In May 2009, FC Barcelona won the treble.

Nine months later – February 2010 – birth rates spike to a massive 16%.

Researchers claim an analysis of two hospitals in the region of Bages prove the statistic. The city of Barcelona, however, saw an increase of only 1.2% comparatively as reported in the British Medical Journal.

The jury is out on whether the two can be co-related, albeit, an interesting piece of information.
