Nepal National Women’s Football team hammered Qatar 6 – 0 to take one-game lead in the two-match FIFA International Women’s’ football friendly series held in Doha, Qatar. Nepalese women’s football team is in Doha to play two-match FIFA International Women’s Friendly series with hosts Qatar.

Nepal Women’s team is Ranked 99th in FIFA World women’s ranking while Qatar is ranked 112th. Nepal scored four goals in the first half while added another 2 goal in the second half to win the match. The hosts were no match for the SAFF women’s runners up, Nepal.

Samjhana Rana opened the scoring in the 12th minute of the match for Nepal while Anu Lama added another in the 27th minute. Niru Thapa scored 3rd goal in 30th minute while Samjhana Rana netted fourth just before the break. After the break Skipper Chandra Bhandari and Pramila Rai netted one each to make the scoreline 6 – 0.
