Just a few years back, Gareth Bale was not a big name. He rarely started games and was considered as a flop following his move to White Hart Lane from Southampton. He was on the verge of being offloaded to Birmingham City.

Now, one of the feared attackers in the Premier League, Spurs would be happy that they didn’t give up on the young Wales international who has turned out to be one of the key players in the current Spur’s squad.

If that’s not enough, he is being compared to global superstar Cristiano Ronaldo and big clubs like Real Madrid are reportedly after him.
