Gareth Bale and Keylor Navas confident they can win the El Clasico at the Camp Nou

Real Madrid goalkeeper, Keylor Navas, has urged his teammates to give it their all in the upcoming 'El Clasico' against arch-rivals Barcelona. The Catalans are 8 points ahead of Madrid in the table with only 8 games left to play.

Navas says that giving up is not 'worthy of Real Madrid' putting aside their recent 4-0 loss to Luis Enrique's men at the Santiago Bernabeu where Barcelona ran riot continuously ripping apart the Madrid defence and leaving the stadium dumbfounded.

But, Navas is looking at the brighter side of things and is focusing solely on the upcoming match. "We can't give up, that's not worthy of Madrid," Navas said.

"It's a very important game for us and we're going to give everything. We'll try to do our best and hopefully we will win.

"In spite of the difficult circumstances, we have to give everything for the shirt. It's a game that the whole world watches and, irrespective of the three points, it's important to win it."

Earlier this week, Gareth Bale spoke about the importance of the El Clasico and how they're preparing for it.

"We need to go out and attack Barcelona and exploit their weaknesses.

"We have to score and simply win the game, it’ll be tough. They’re playing very well, but we’ve got to go out and give 100%. We’ve got a game plan and if we perform to our best we are capable of winning at the Camp Nou.

"Anything is possible in football. We know that we’re 10 points behind and that we’ll fight on until the end. Winning La Liga is still possible and if we win on Saturday we’ll be seven points behind and you never know what might happen.

"We’ll give 100% and try to win. If we play well in La Liga we’ll have more confidence going into the Champions League game. We’re taking things game by game. There are areas to improve on and I hope that between now and the end of the season we improve and we win some silverware."

If Barcelona were to win, it would most certainly exclude Real Madrid from the title race. City rivals Atletico Madrid are only a point ahead of Real Madrid and could also be out of the race if the Catalans were to win.
