Harry Redknapp mocks Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli over tweet following Manchester United’s 5-3 defeat to Leicester.

If the racial abuses from Manchester United supporters were not enough, Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp is now taking a sly dig at Liverpool forward Mario Balotelli for his tweet last week.

Following Manchester United’s loss to Leicester City last week, the Italian striker wrote on Twitter:

Several fans tweeted back to Balotelli while targeting his skin colour and comparing him to a monkey among other racial slurs. The case was further reported to the authorities who insists actions will be taken soon enough.

In a press conference, Redknapp, who hardly engages in social media, was asked if he would be interested in joining Twitter to which he said, "No chance. I don't even know what it is. I don't understand it.”

"There's people whose teams just got smashed up and the next day they're commenting on other people's teams,” he continued while referring to Balotelli indirectly. “And I'm thinking, hang on, you lost last night."

Liverpool had lost to West Ham the previous day.
