England captain Wayne Rooney scored his 43rd international goal to give the Three Lions a 1-0 win over Estonia in Tallinn.
The win puts England on top of Group E with nine points from three games – a perfect start to their Euro 2016 qualifying campaign where they are yet to concede a goal.
In a match where the visitors dominated possession, they initially failed to get shots on target. Their best chance in the first half falling to Rooney who volleyed the ball over the bar after a sublime chip from Jack Wilshere to set him up.
Rooney finally scored in the 73rd minute with a free kick near the edge of the box. The Manchester United captain sent a low shot that just managed to go over the wall before curling and beating the goalkeeper at the near post.
