India Football Tour is coming to the unofficial home of 5-a-side football in India, Bangalore. India Football Tour, presented by AddRush Sports is the Indian qualifiers for the 5-a-side World Finals famously known as F5WC.
F5WC happens every year with about 32 countries participating. 2016 World Finals took place in Thailand with Paul Scholes and Michel Salgado as the brand ambassadors making it the definitive 5-a-side competition in the world. Team Colombia had won the 2016 finals.
IFT which is the biggest 5-a-side amateur football tournament in India started in Delhi in Feb and has already covered 5 cities in North and central India and is now headed for South! Entering its final leg, it has been received well among the footballing community in the country as it has provided a platform for amateur footballers to showcase their talent and compete with some of the best teams in the country.
India Football Tour is coming to Bangalore and we couldn’t be more excited! We are hoping to get a massive participation from the immensely talented footballing community that this city has and make this one of the best qualifiers of IFT, said Itika Singhal of Addrush.
Astro Arena, Marathahalli will be the venue for the Bangalore qualifier which will take place on 24th September. The team that wins will be crowned as the city champions. They will get an all-expense paid trip to Goa to represent Bangalore at the India Football Tour Finals which will be held in November this year.
There they will fight it out with 9 other city winners for the ultimate prize of representing India in the 5-a-side football World Finals (F5WC 2017) to be held in Beijing, China apart from other lucrative prizes.
