Official: Jack Wilshere joins Bournemouth on a season long loan

Jack Wilshere joins Bournemouth on a season-long loan on the deadline day. Crystal Palace were earlier termed as favourites to sign the 24-year-old but now Eddie Howe's side have secured his services for the 2016-17 season.

Alan Pardew had talked of Palace interest in Wilshere as the London club looked an obvious chance him as he wouldn't have to move his family anywhere else.

Jack Wilshere's dad, Andy had also said that the 24-year-old is likely to join Palace who have done excellent business this summer. They have signed Christian Benteke, Andros Townsend and Loic Remy on loan in one transfer window as this transfer period is termed as their best ever in their existence I'm the Premier League.

A whopping 22 clubs were interested in taking Wilshere on loan with Bournemouth beating some big names including AS Roma to land their marquee name this summer.

West Brom and Watford e were the other teams to be interested in Wilshere from the Premier League. Liverpool and Manchester City too would have liked to sign him but Wenger had made it clear that he won't let Wilshere leave to a top four rival.

Juventus were said to be serious about their interest as they haven't replaced Paul Pogba yet who left for a stunning £89 million to Manchester United. AS Roma were one of the favourites as their sporting director, Franco Baldini was personally interested in taking Wilshere on loan.

The Cherries have landed a big fish who broke their transfer record this summer to sign winger, Jordan Ibe. Brad Smith and Nathan Ake are some of the other exciting youngsters who will play under Howe at the Vitality stadium.

Xavi, who has been an ardent admirer of Wilshere, said, ”A loan move can be a good move for him. He needs to be playing, he needs to build up his fitness, and if he can do that I am sure he will still have a big career at Arsenal.”

He is a young player still, and if he can put the injuries behind him there is no reason why he still can't be one of the best midfield players in Europe. ” Arsenal have sent Calum Chambers on loan too, as he completed his medical at Middlesbrough last evening.

Wilshere has only played 90 minutes of football in the last 12 months and Arsenal fans will hope this loan will do him a world of good.
