Most of you know Jesé Rodríguez while perhaps some of you are even following him from his Castilla days but how many of you know about his love for music? Besides being a star on the football ground, Jesé is also a budding musician.

During an interview with FIFA, the Castilla youth product revealed that he fell back on music during his 258 days long layoff after his injury.

"Music helped me a lot. It was my crutch, especially after the operation, because I couldn't do anything [physically], so I would spend my time after treatment writing songs," stated the Real Madrid forward.

In the last couple of years, he performed as one-half of the "Big Flow" group with Nuno N. Bi, and both of them are considered to be reggaeton's future in the Spanish music scenario. Their biggest hit was "La Mano Arriba" (video given).

After the success of his band, the Real Madrid star has decided to go solo under the stage name "Jey M" as he revealed the news via his twitter account.

"Good afternoon. I want to inform you and thank for all the musical support but 'Big Flow' has already finished. In 2015, there will be my songs solo and collaborating with major producers and artists, my musical name will be ' Jey M' ", he wrote on Twitter.

Unity secret of Galacticos success

In his latest interview with FIFA the Spanish star also spend some time talking about life in Real Madrid, which can be summarized in a single line, "Besides great players, what we've got here are great people, and so we've grown from a team into a family."

To answer what is the secret behind Real Madrid's success, Jesé pointed out unity in the dressing room, "Some very impressive records have been beaten and it takes a family, not just a team, to do something like that. If we weren't as tight-knit as we are, such a big change wouldn't have been possible.”

“From the outside looking in, people think it's easy, but it's not. Dressing rooms are full of egos and we have some top players here, but what I see is that the competition is very healthy. There is no one-upmanship or jealousy, just competition for the good of the team" the starlet added.
