With Barcelona signing the Uruguay international Luiz Suarez, along with Lionel Messi and Neymar, it seemed that they would make the menacing front- three.
However, the former Barca coach Johan Cruyff believes that it would be difficult for the trio to function properly as a unit blaming it on their individualistic nature of play.
“I can't see how Barca intends to continue playing the same way, with a keen focus on team play if Messi, Neymar and Luis Suarez are in the side,” he told De Telegraaf.
Cruyff had earlier criticised Barcelona’s signing of Brazilian star stating that signing of Neymar has destabilised the dressing room.
"Everything is against him, both as a person and as a player," said three time world player of the year.”
“ If you are 22 and you are earning twice as much as the goalkeeper (Victor Valdes), who has won everything with Barca then what kind of atmosphere can that engender in the dressing room?"
Cruyff has also denounced the Barcelona club for signing the players and said that the club showed more preference to individual talent over a team that plays good football.
