Louis Saha: Manchester United will struggle to bring in big name players

Moyes

Former Manchester United striker Louis Saha admits David Moyes will struggle to bring in big name players in the summer, due to the clubs precarious league position.

Manchester United are currently languishing in seventh place and there have been suggestions that Moyes would struggle to bring in the suitable players, as his side seem set to miss out on Champions League football for next season.

Louis Saha told talkSPORT he believes the Scotsman will find it extremely difficult in the summer transfer window.

He said: “It is a huge blow [not qualifying for the Champions League]. People were not expecting something like this to happen.

“It is now about making sure the transfer market is well worked.

“We all know money is very important in terms of finding the right players and when you don’t appear in the Champions League, it is a big blow.”

United have had a season to forget, with David Moyes unable to have the desired effect on the club since leaving Everton for the Red Devils in the summer.

They face an almost impossible task to catch up with Everton and Arsenal, who are vying for the fourth and final Champions League spot.

Thirteen of Manchester United’s fifty-six Premier League goals this season have come from set-pieces.
