Love him or hate him you simply can’t ignore Luis Suarez. To say he has had an amazing 2013/2014 season for Liverpool would be an understatement. The Uruguayan has broken numerous records as a player and will go down in history as one of the best strikers to have ever played the game. Let’s take a look at some Luis Suarez records.

Suarez became the first player in Premier League history to score two or more goals in four consecutive games.

Suarez scored more goals than any other Premier League team in the 2013/2014 season.

The striker holds the record for being Uruguay’s top scorer with 38 goals in 77 games.

Suarez held the title of IFFHS World’s Top Scorer back in 2010.

The striker was the Eredivisie’s top scorer for the 2009/2010 season with 49 goals in all competitions.

Was named the Dutch Footballer of the Year in 2010 for his exploits with Ajax.

Suarez netted his 100th Ajax goal in the 2010/2011 season becoming only the fourth player to achieve this after Johan Cruyff, Marco van Basten and Dennis Bergkamp.

The 27-year-old is the Premier League’s most frequent scorer of hat-trick and has scored six of them so far.
