Manang Marshyangdi Club (MMC) won the Martyrs Memorial A Division Football League for a record seventh time defeating Nepal Police Club 2-0 in their final match of the Super League.

This is MMC´s first top division league title in eight years and their fifth title of the current season. MMC had earlier won the Gurkha Cup, Ncell Cup, Safal Pokhara Cup in Nepal and King´s Cup in Bhutan. MMC took home the prize money of Rs 7.5 million and will represent Nepal in the AFC President´s Cup as the league champion.

MMC gained 35 points to claim the top division football title, four ahead of second placed Machhindra Football Club. Defending champions Three Star Club is in third place with 29 points while Nepal Police Club is in fourth place with 26 points.

MMC is the only team in the history of Martyrs Memorial A Division Football League in Nepal to win the title for the record 7th time. Before this season, MMC and Ranipokhari Corner Team (RCT), relegated from A division in the current season, have won the league title six times each.

The 13-team top division league saw the Ranipokhari Corner Team (RCT) and Boys Union Club relegated to B division. All the 13 teams played each other in the first round while top 6 teams qualify for the super six round. The top six team played each other in the super six round to determine the league champion.
