While reacting to Manchester United's narrow win against Coventry City in the semifinals of the FA Cup, Roy Keane stated that the English giants looked like the Championship side in the tie.

The Red Devils dominated the first 60 minutes of the game, taking a comfortable three goal lead. However, they witnessed an unbelievable comeback from Coventry City as they scored three goals in the last 20 minutes of the game.

Manchester United ultimately booked their place in the final of the FA Cup after beating the Championship side 4-2 on penalties.

However, while expressing his displeasure, former United midfielder Roy Keane said he was "almost disliking them". He stated (via Metro):

"It’s getting to the stage that I’m almost disliking them. I see a group with bad habits, they were almost frightened to win the game. There’s huge problems for Manchester United going forward but they got the job done. In extra-time Coventry looked like a Premier League team and Manchester United looked like a Championship side."

Interestingly, Coventry almost scored the winner in the dying embers of the second half of extra time through Victor Torp, but it was ruled offside by the slightest of margins.

The Red Devils were on the ropes as Brazilian midfielder Casemiro, who was tasked with taking the first penalty, struck the ball straight at the goalkeeper in an attempt to pull off a panenka.

For Coventry, Callum O’Hare and Ben Sheaf failed to convert their penalties, with Manchester United's Rasmus Hojlund scoring the decisive spot-kick.

Manchester United to take on Manchester City in the FA Cup final

Fans will witness a Manchester derby at the Wembley Stadium in London on May 25 in the FA Cup final for the second year running.

While the red side of Manchester secured a spot in the final after their win against Coventry, City defeated Chelsea 1-0 to book their place in the final.

Erik ten Hag's men currently sit in the seventh spot on the Premier League table. They were eliminated from the group stages of the Champions League after securing just one win, which came against FC Copenhagen.

The Red Devils are miles away from a Champions League spot and their only chance of bagging silverware this season rests on the FA Cup.

United return to Premier League action when they take on Sheffield United on April 24 at Old Trafford.
