Manchester United star Casemiro has compared Kylian Mbappe to Cristiano Ronaldo. He believes that the Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) star is hungry for goals, very much like the former Real Madrid forward.
Speaking to El Chiringuito TV, Casemiro claimed that Mbappe almost guarantees a goal in every match he plays. He added that it was similar to Ronaldo as the Portuguese used to smell goals every time he got on the pitch. He said:
"Mbappé reminds me of Cristiano. He's on the field, he's smelling a goal. You have to be worried with this guy because he will score a goal. Cristiano was like that."
Mbappe is a big fan of Ronaldo and his former teammate, Abdou Diallo revealed it in an interview with Daily Mail, back in 2022. He said:
"Cristiano Ronaldo is literally everything to Kylian Mbappe. If you mention Lionel Messi against Cristiano, Mbappe will debate with you for at least an hour. For him, Cristiano is untouchable."
PSG were reportedly offered the chance to sign Cristiano Ronaldo by Jorge Mendes, but the Ligue 1 club rejected the chance in 2021 and 2022, as per Sky Sports.

Kylian Mbappe has admitted that he was a Cristiano Ronaldo fan while growing up. The PSG star added that he ended up liking both the Portuguese star and Lionel Messi later on and said via SportBIBLE:
"I love Cristiano and I was a big fan of him when I was young but I start to like Messi too because when you are a big fan of Cristiano when you are young, you can't see how Messi is good because you love Cristiano. But I grew up and I like both now."
Mbappe wants to get to the level of Messi and Ronaldo and said:
"Every time I go on a pitch I always tell myself that I'm the best and yet I have played on grounds where there was Messi and Cristiano (Ronaldo). They are better players than me, they have does a billion more things than me. But in my head I always tell myself that I'm the best because that way you don't give yourself limits and you try to give your best."
Reports suggest Kylian Mbappe will be moving to Cristiano Ronaldo's former side Real Madrid this summer when his contract at PSG expires.
