1. Raheem Sterling was born on the 8th of December 1994 in Kingston, Jamaica.

2. The youngster began his footballing career as a 9-year-old when he joined the youth academy of Queens Park Rangers.

3. Liverpool’s then manager Rafael Benitez bought Sterling from QPR for a fee of £600,000.

4. Sterling scored on his Liverpool Under-18 debut against Everton in a dramatic 4-3 victory for the Reds.
