1. Raheem Sterling was born on the 8th of December 1994 in Kingston, Jamaica.
2. The youngster began his footballing career as a 9-year-old when he joined the youth academy of Queens Park Rangers.
3. Liverpool’s then manager Rafael Benitez bought Sterling from QPR for a fee of £600,000.

8. Sterling became a father at the young age of 18 after his former girlfriend gave birth to a daughter.
9. The midfielder was arrested on 8th August this year for assaulting his girlfriend but was declared not-guilty on 20th September by the Liverpool Magistrate Court.
10. Sterling has stated that he is a devout Christian and religion means a lot to him.
