Real Madrid President Florentino Perez will have worries in front of him as Real Madrid, along with rival club Barcelona will be losing a lot of money.

Real Madrid and Barcelona will have a big hole in their money tree as their television revenue will be limited under a new Spanish law.

According to Bloomberg, Real Madrid and Barcelona rack up around €150 million each per season from their television revenue deals with MediaPro, which is almost 6.5 times as much as the other teams in the league.

Real Madrid and Barcelona have been receiving almost around 43% of the total television revenue, almost 11 times more than than lowest-earning club in the side.

The new law will restrict both the clubs to receive not more than four times as much broadcast income as the smallest of the 20 clubs in the Spanish league, league president Javier Tebas revealed.

The ‘Sports Law’ has been scheduled to be approved by the end of the year and will take effect in 2015.
