Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata is considering his future at the club due to being shifted down the pecking order at the club as well as strong interest from other clubs.

Arsenal and Liverpool are believed to be interested in signing the young Spaniard a loan deal until the summer and Morata is thought to be incredibly interested in leaving the Spanish capital.

Morata lies behind Karim Benzema and Jese Rodriguez in the Madrid attacking ranks and sees no future for himself at the club anymore.

After being told he was not allowed to leave the club this month, it is thought that Madrid have now taken a looser view on the situation and are willing to let Morata leave on a short-term loan deal.

He told Minuto 116: “Real Madrid have been my team since I was little and will be all my life, but I think the important thing is to have a relevant role in the team.

“If I ever feel that’s not the case, I would look at other options. In football, it’s very difficult to stay at the top and even more so in a team like Real.

“Moving up to the first team is tricky, not everyone deals with it well. If you learn how to handle it, you realise the value of every minute.

“Maybe in five or 10 minutes you have to go on and be decisive in a game. In football every minute is golden.”

Morata has started just one La Liga game this season but has scored two goals in his ten appearances.
