Rumour: Manchester United's Nani to leave for Juventus

After failing to impress new manager David Moyes, it looks likely that Nani will be leaving Manchester United, with Juventus looking keen.

Nani, 27, signed for United in 2007 for €25 million and was set to become a star in the Premier League. He never fulfilled the potential and belief shown in him by Sir Alex Ferguson, though, and his time at Old Trafford now looks to be over.

Several clubs from around Europe, including Valencia and Juventus, have taken a look at Nani and think he’s worth signing so a move to the continent could well be on.

TuttoSport are reporting that the 27-year-old would prefer a move to Serie A leaders and reining champions, Juventus so they are definitely front-runners now.

Unfortunately for the Portuguese, Juve may need to sell a couple of players before they are able to push through with any deal.

What is unclear at the moment is the amount of money Manchester United are prepared to accept to let Nani leave the club.

Nani has a shot accuracy of 27% this season, which is one of the worst at the club, having hit just three shots on target.
