A sensational swap deal of Rooney for Cavani has reportedly been proposed by Manchester United

According to reports, Manchester United’s manager Louis Van Gaal is all set to bid for the South American duo of Juan Cuadrado and Edison Cavani.

Cuadrado is also said to be on the radar of Bundesliga giants Bayern Municha and a starting bid of £30m is the supposed amount for the talented Colombian International.

With Nani reportedly on his way out of Old Trafford, the 26 year old winger should be a perfect fit for van Gaal’s squad.

Also reported is that ace striker Wayne Rooney may be offered in a swap deal for Edison Cavani. The Uruguayan international, who presently plays for French Club Paris Saint Germain, could form a deadly strike partnership with the talismanic Robin van Persie.

Both these transfers would strengthen United’s squad tremendously, and give them all the ammunition they need ahead of the Premier League season.
