Ronaldo shares a warm relationship with his former manager and ‘football father’

Former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has given a sneak peek into the house of Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo. The legendary coach was clearly in awe of his former protege’s house as he called it ‘unbelievable’.

Sir Alex was speaking at the Stanford School of Business where he touched upon a host of aspects before he opened up on Ronaldo’s ‘dream’ house.

Ferguson had attended a dinner with Ronaldo before being given a tour of the latter’s mansion in Madrid.

The Scot also claimed that Ronaldo has a house that is ‘tailor-made for the best football player on the planet’.

"I've never known anyone like him, honestly," he told students.

"The gym is about half the size of this [pointing to the Stanford School of Business lecture hall], he's got everything in it.”

"He's got two pools; a hot pool and a cold pool. He's got an ice room at minus 160 degrees where he goes in for 10 minutes after every game. It's just unbelievable."

Sir Alex Ferguson and Ronaldo share a more than cordian relationship and the latter has always had warm words regarding his former manager. Ronaldo, who was brought in to Manchester by the Scot when he was just a teenager, has called him the best ever manager in the world and also called him his football father on numerous occasions.

Ronaldo is currently the richest footballer on the planet as he leads the football richlist with a net worth of 230 million dollars. He is also the third highest paid athlete of 2015 with annual earnings of 79.6 million dollars. He is also the 15th richest athlete in the world.

The Portuguese sensation, considered to be one of the best footballers to have graced the beautiful game, lives in a sprawling 8600 square foot residence in Madrid. The one-storey house is completely state of the art and boasts of seven bedrooms, eigth bathrooms, a trophy room and kid’s playrooms. It has been estimated that the house is valued at a mouth-watering 7.2 million dollars.

The star is currently the highest paid footballer on the planet and is contracted to the Spanish giants until 2018.
