TAL Bangalore: On Fire (Gameweek 8 Division 4)

Pembele Kabunga has been in phenomenal form and is the backbone of the Sima defence

With the final quarter of the season upon us, we have had some brilliant performers lifting up their teams to put them in a position to challenge for their respective goals. These 5 performers have excelled recently and their opponents will need to keep any eye on them

#1 Pembele Kabunga (Simba Sports FC)

The Simba defender has been largely responsible for his side’s clean sheet and is one of the best defenders in the league. His combination of strength and stamina makes him an elite defender. His repertoire also includes positioning and he rarely makes mistakes on the pitch. With big games coming up in the final three weeks his expertise will be called upon to a large extent as his teams tries to clinch the title in their first ever season in TAL.

#2 Dauda Ahme (United 4th Phase FC)

Hat tricks in consecutive games has put Dauda in the limelight for the first time this season. His partnership with Sai Kiran in midfield is one of the best - if not the best- in the league and the two players complement each other beautifully. Dauda has recently found an attacking flair in his game and his range of goals and passes have shown he can be a complete box-to-box player.

United 4th Phase currently sit third on the table, which means their destiny is completely in their hands.

#3 Sunil Belgaonkar (Brothers United)

The nimble-footed forward has been influential in wins for Brothers United. His recent man of the match performance against Rangers saw him net two including the winner whilst also coming up with an assist. His intricate dribbling skills in the box have been a joy to watch.

If Brothers are to end the season on a high note, Sunil will have a big role to play in it. However, they need to find a way to give him a little more support up front, especially in the big games, where he tends to get lonely up front.

#4 Peter Jr (Dragons AFC)

The centre-back has been key to Dragons recent defensive form. His performance against Simba where his team kept a clean sheet brought him into the limelight. For the first time this season, Simba were unable to score and along with captain Danny Khumlo in goal they have conceded zero goals in the past five games. Dragons are set to face Bangalore City FC B, and his strength and defensive ability, in general, will be needed in all its might.

#5 Worthem B (Bangalore City FC B)

Worthem has quietly become BCFC’s most consistent attacker and along with Ibrahim Kanote being the standout players for them this season. The quick paced winger has been involved in goals via scoring them himself and by assisting making him a threat against any opposition in the division. Along with Faazil and Papi, the trio will have a huge role to play in the coming few games with two of their next three fixtures coming against the stingiest sides in the league in Dragons and Simba.
