TAL: Gameweek 4 Preview

Mercurial v FCKK

We are approaching GW 4 and it is around the time we begin to see who the contenders and pretenders are. League leader, Horizons FC taking on third placed Gremio FC both of whom are unbeaten, headlines GW 4.

8:30 AM – Mercurial FC v Samba FC

GW 4 kicks off with Mercurial FC taking on Samba FC. Mercurial haven’t been at their best this season and will be looking to change things around as they face familiar foes (well, from last season) in Samba FC. Samba put on a solid show in GW 3 as they trampled Mavericks with a commanding 3-0 win. A good match up is at hand and the result could go either way depending on who wants it more.

Crystal Ball Prediction: Mercurial FC 1-1 Samba FC

10:00 AM – Yataghan Bangalore FC v Project 7

The second match of the morning features Project 7 and Yataghan Bangalore FC. Newcomers, Project 7 have shown that they are not pushovers by any means and will be looking to replicate the last week’s performance that saw them cruise easily against Rare Dare FC. Yataghan BFC on the other hand probably put in their worst performance in TAL in GW 3 and will be looking to bounce back as they look to realign their squad and formation.

Crystal Ball Prediction: Yataghan Bangalore FC 1-2 Project 7

11:30 AM – Saints FC v Rare Dare FC

The final game of the morning session has Saints FC pitted against Rare Dare FC. Saints have been in top form and have scored 12 goals in 3 games while conceding none. Rare Dare FC has not started off very well but that can be partly blamed on the tough opening schedule they have had. RDFC faces another stern test in Saints but have enough quality in them to cause an upset.

Crystal Ball Prediction: Saints FC 4-2 Rare Dare FC

1:15 PM – Gremio FC v Horizons FC

Next up, the headliner of the day – Gremio FC versus Horizons- might have a big role to play in the title race. Gremio FC have taken 9 out of 9 points albeit not having been in their best form but if they are to get a result against Horizons, they must bring their ‘A’ game. Horizons FC are sitting atop the table with three good victories and look like a good bet to defend the league.

Crystal Ball Prediction: Gremio FC 0-1 Horizons FC

2:45PM – Mavericks FC v Indian Ocean

Mavericks FC takes on Indian Ocean in the second game of the afternoon session is what should be an attacking game. Mavericks lost in the last game-week to Samba but should be at full strength this around and will be looking to getting back to winning ways. Indian Ocean have made some new additions to their team before the transfer window closes and this should help them in their quest to get their first win in TAL.

Crystal Ball Prediction: Mavericks FC 2-2 Indian Ocean

4:15PM – FC Kougen Kikou v Flipkart FC

The final game of the day has FC Kougen Kikou pitted against Flipkart FC. FC Kougen Kikou are a much-improved team from last season and they look to build on a good performance last week they beat Mercurial FC with ease. Flipkart FC have shown that they will cause a few upsets before the league ends and will be looking to getting back to winning ways after losing to Gremio last week.

Crystal Ball Prediction: FC Kougen Kikou 3-2 Flipkart FC
