After the hassles of international friendlies, world cup qualifiers and European adventures, finally the focus has returned to domestic leagues. Coming week is going to be very busy and all the guns are ready to blaze. Here are my top 5 for the week-
5. West Ham v Fulham -
You can enjoy the London Derby of lower clubs. Both the teams are struggling at 17th and 18th spots respectively with 10 points each in their kitty. This season the blow of Hammer is making simple thuds. They have scored least goals (9) by far among all the clubs. Fulham on the other hand has inferior goal difference of -10.
Both the clubs are struggling for points and in this dry winter season, this is the perfect chance to collect important 3 points. Hammers could propel themselves up to 15th after the win and breathe easy. Fulham is the oldest among all the London clubs in Premier League. They are enjoying 13th straight season in top division but this time, road is pretty slippery for them. Experience of club loyalist like Bent, Berbatov, Scott Parker, Sidwell, Senderos is going waste. Coach Martin Jol has to settle the bricks in this match. The team is hungry and dreaming for I League win like their Junior Lads. United can join the summit with a win in this match. Ranti Martins is enjoying second season at the club and scoring quite frequently along with fellow Liberian Eric Brown. The clash will begin in Pune on 1st day of next month at 6pm.
