Twitter reacts to Tottenham Hotspur Deadline Day success

'Just sign some f***ing player,' was basically the anthem of almost every Tottenham Hotspur fan for the majority of the window. Indeed, they were the only club in the Premier League this season to not announce a single signing in July, but then gathered pace in the final few days of the window.

It all started with a club-record signing of Davinson Sanchez from Ajax. Mauricio Pochettino insisted that there would be at least four more signings -- and he kept his words with Deadline Day alone witnessing two new additions to the club.

Serge Aurier joined from Paris-Saint Germain as Fernando Llorente finally signed with the club he was heavily linked 4 years ago.
