This goal is certainly going to be up for nominations the next time we compile the goals of the week this weekend.

25-year-old Oswaldo Alanis scored a scorcher of a goal for his side, Santos Laguna, a Mexican club during their semifinal tie against Tigres UANL for the Copa MX Aperutra this season. The goal was scored in the 60th minute of the match from 65 yards out when the scores between the two sides were tied at 2-2, putting his side ahead after they were trailing 2-0.

Alanis’ goal was his team’s third who went on to win the match with a scoreline of 2-4.
