Video: DR Congo goalkeeper Robert Kidiaba does his trademark "bum dance" celebration

Robert Kidiaba doing the bum dance

The Democratic Republic of Congo’s goalkeeper Robert Kidiaba, who is known for his highly unusual “bum dance” celebration, brought out the celebration once his team came back from a 2-0 deficit and took the lead against Congo in the quarterfinals of the African Cup of Nations.

In what was a highly entertaining match, Congo went up 2-0 but were stunned by DR Congo, who stormed back to win the match 4-2 and clinch a place in the semifinals.

Kidiaba, who is also the captain of DR Congo, could not contain his emotions once his team took the lead and performed the celebration on the edge of his penalty box, in the 81st minute.

The celebration itself is quite peculiar, as it involves him gliding across the pitch holding what looks like imaginary reins. Two things that stand out in this celebration are his speed while he does it, and the energy levels he exhibits (considering he is a 39-year-old man).
