Video: Kaka delighted to return 'home' to Milan

Kaka arrived in Italy on Monday (September 2nd) to re-sign for AC Milan from Real Madrid.

“Well, after a difficult period in Madrid, I dreamed about it a couple of times about this chance. So now it is come true and it is a beautiful reality for me. I am really happy.”

Q: (what do you want to say to those many fans who cried when you left?):“I say this to the fans, we are meeting again. It was sad for me to leave, but these things happen. I have had this four year experience with Real Madrid and now I am back and happy to be back.”

Q: (which kind of Kaka will see the Milan’s fans?)“They will find a 31 year old Kaka with a lot of motivation and will to feel joy with this team as I had in the past.”

Q: (which kind of team do you think to find, with Balotelli and El Sharawy?)“It is a very young team, with very good players, with a lot of motivation. I am happy to have Robinho as a team-mate, as we played together in the national team. I am happy, I hope to perform well with this team.”

Q: (how are you physically?)“I am ok, I am physically ok. I did not have any injury for a long time. I am happy for this and I want to play.”

(asked about the financial package from AC Milan)“Money has never been my first motivation. I am not being hypocritical and saying that it does not matter, but it is not the first motivation for me and my decision proves this.”

Q: (after moving to AC Milan, do you think you can join also the Brazil national team for the WC?)“Step by step, I believe that Milan can help me to play a World Cup in Brazil, but we have to go step by step. Now I need to play with Milan.”

(asked about his time with Real Madrid)“I did my best to make things happen in the best possible way in Madrid, but it was time to leave. There were fewer opportunities for me, so it was the right time to leave and go home.”
