The Argentine side eventually lost 5-0 against Atlanta in the Argentine third division football league. Atlanta were awarded a gift of a goal when there seemed to be no threat of a goalscoring chance.
It all seemed like business as usual for Cervetti when he picked the ball up in the penalty area after preventing a corner. He was trying to find his team-mate with a throw when he accidentally and shockingly swings it right into his own net.
