PC Dead or Alive 5 Last Round modders warned to keep things clean

Team Ninja warns modders not to create anything inappropriate for the new game

Team Ninja is encouraging PC modders not to create anything too inappropriate for Dead or Alive 5 Last Round. Yohei Shimbori (the game’s director), in a recent interview with MCV, revealed that they are warning modders to keep things as clean as possible. He added that they have to deal with mod issues “from an IP holder perspective“. Team Ninja hopes that PC gamers play Dead or Alive 5 Last Round with “good moral and manner“ and if boundaries are broken, Team Ninja won’t be releasing a PC game ever again.

Shimbori didn’t really reveal what is unacceptable to make in Dead or Alive 5 Last Round, but his words were enough to alarm the masses about the expectations of the company and the director himself. The referrences could relate to multiple factors but the overall message is quite clear.

Dead or Alive 5 Last Round is coming out on March 30th for the PC. This might give enough time for fans to ask Team Ninja what they can and cannot create in the game.
