PC version of Batman Arkham Knight to re-release soon

A still from Arkham Knight

Rocksteady Studios are set to put the horrendous release of the PC version of the hit game Batman: Arkham Knight behind them, with the game set for a re-release set to see the light of day very soon.

The game, which released worldwide on June 23rd, received rave reviews, but the PC version experienced so many glitches and bugs that Warner Brothers pulled it off the market and even issued a note of apology.

Initial fears were that the PC version of Batman: Arkham Knight wouldn’t hit shelves again until this fall, which is like a millenium for gamers, but that fear has been pacified by Warner Brothers.

In a press release advertising the game’s first DLC, Warner Brothers stated that “The PC version of the game will be available in the coming weeks”, which is bound to bring joy to many PC users who have been deprived of a proper game.

Rocksteady released a patch to address the glitches, but the PC version still has a long way to go before all the issues are ironed out. Meanwhile, the console version of the game has been much smoother.

Rumours about Rocksteady outsourcing the PC version of the game to a 12 man developer team also did the rounds.

Let’s hope the re-released PC version does the game justice.
