World Cup Final Spain vs Netherlands
30 days of football, 63 matches and 136 goals. It will all trickle down to what will happen at Soccercity stadium Johannesburg on the 11th of July when Netherlands meet Spain.
All the hullaboo of the “who should reach the final, and my favorites or your favorites” ends here! All Asian and African teams are at peace in their native countries will be watching these two teams turn it on for the Championship crown! While the South American teams are either busy slashing the coaching staff or playing an insignificant third place game.
Netherlands
Netherlands have earned their way to the world cup final. Netherlands victory against Brazil stands in high light for the composure they showed after trailing 1-0 at halftime. Brazil’s thriller of a performance in the first 45 minutes needed an equally potent performance from the Netherlands side and they did it without much fuss.
This Netherlands side is powered by their fantastic four – Wesley Sneijder, Arjen Robben, Dirk Kuyt and Robin Van Persie.
Netherlands fantastic four

Please excuse me for my photoshop skills, and my sympathies to Jessica Alba. (Here…Robin VAN Persie)
Netherlands
Netherlands depend upon Sneijder for circulation. He feeds in the balls and connects the front-men with the backline. His role and stamina allows the Central defending midfielders to indulge much more in the defensive duties. This is crucial because Netherlands defense was not as strong as many other teams on paper.
Arjen Robben and Dirk Kuyt on the flanks perform their role of making cutting runs inside the box to assist Van Persie or setting up crosses with perfect precision for this Netherlands side. Arjen Robben is a tough cookie (not referring to his diving skills here) as he makes life hell for defenders. His dribbling skills make him the most threatening player in the side. He earns a large part of the set-pieces for the Netherlands side. Going by Netherlands goal scoring by now you can notice how heavily they rely on set pieces. The winner against Brazil was through a corner, so was the Arjen Robben clincher against Uruguay.
Dirk Kuyt is most important to the side for his ability to maintain constant energy in the group. His runs and assists have been influential to say the least. He is a worker and somebody who coordinates perfectly with Sneijder, Robben and Van Persie.
Robin Van Persie has not set the scoresheets on fire but he has been a most effective player. His ability to make spaces for Robben and Kuyt tear down defenses. It is for this reason that Robben and Kuyt become so integral as goal scorers.
Spain’s X-Men

This was supposed to be Spain's team but since I failed with my photoshop skills you are enshrined with the duty of imagining these XMen characters as the four back of Spain. I am deeply thankful for your support
Spain
Spain will look to strangle these four men with resistance of their back four. The good news for Spain is that they have three clean sheets in the last three matches. Spain can rely on their back four for they have have been miserly. Carles Puyol and Gerard Pique bring their Barcelona touch and are two of the best centre backs in the world. Sergio Ramos is fantastic with his ability to make runs down the flank and counter. He will exploit the spaces left by Netherlands wingers while cutting in.
