Manish Pandey (Hubli Tigers captain): Things are going well for us. Lucky to have won the toss and bowled first. We were good till the first 17 overs but became a bit expensive in the last three overs. Luvnith and Taha batted well and good finish by Naga and Shirjith. We have some plans late before the match starts and by the time we reach here, it is pretty clear what we have to do. It is half my call and half the bowler's plans as to what to do. The whole plan was this (to be in a hurry). We don't want the batters to change their batting style. We keep talking about fielding. I don't expect anything less from my boys.

In a battle between No. 1 and No. 2, many expected the contest to be a close one. However, Hubli Tigers have made this clash of the titans look like a David vs Goliath with the Goliath emerging out on top in this one.

Mohammad Taha and Luvnith Sisodia set the platform for the chase by notching 58 runs inside the powerplay. The required run rate went below 6 an over after 8 overs and it kept on going low. Both the openers did lose their wicket with the former scoring 37 and the latter getting 69 runs to his name.

Naga Bharath and Krishnan Srijith batted till the end and had the luxury to stroll for singles and bag the winning runs.
