Brock Lesnar receives temporary suspension after 2 failed drug tests

WWE Superstar Brock Lesnar has received a temporary suspension from the Nevada State Athletic Commission at a hearing earlier today. The Beast Incarnate had failed two drug tests earlier this year when his samples from June 28 and July 9 tested positive for hydroxy-clomiphene – an anti-estrogen blocker which is also on the banned list of substances.

The two tests were conducted before his UFC 200 fight against Mark Hunt, which Lesnar eventually won. The Beast Incarnate is expected to receive a formal hearing, wherein the charges levied against him will be evaluated and he will be sentenced as deemed fit. The Commission will set a date for the hearing of Lesnar and he is expected to face up to two years from both USADA and the NSAC along with fines for the failed tests.

But what effect will the suspension have on the 4-time World Champion, will WWE suspend him for Wellness Policy violations – just like Roman Reigns, Alberto Del Rio, Paige and Eva Marie, or is he too important for the company?

Backstage Reaction To Chris Jericho After Brock Lesnar Incident
According to PWInsider, backstage reactions to Chris Jericho after Brock Lesnar SummerSlam incident were not positive. People were talking about what a "badass" Y2J was for stepping up to Brock Lesnar after Lesnar's match with Randy Orton at WWE SummerSlam 2016 last Sunday. The site reports that the WWE just considered Chris Jericho’s actions to be “boys being boys” and there is no heat on him or Brock, who flew home on Monday.

It was noted that Jericho "backed" Lesnar up during the altercation and at that point, Lesnar made a remark that Jericho should either "punch him or kiss him".

There were a lot of rumors surrounding Goldberg’s WWE return at SummerSlam this Sunday but when the main event ended and the anticipation was at its highest, instead of Goldberg, Shane McMahon came running out of the wings to help Orton. What happened after The Club took out the Dudleys

The Dudley Boyz came out on Raw to a very respectful crowd, and thanked everyone for the year they had and said their goodbyes. However, they were upstaged by The Shining Stars, whom they attacked, before being attacked themselves by Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, who then gave D-Von a magic killer through a table, ending the segment.

The beatdown with The Club was done to put some heel heat on them for ruining the big farewell, and to leave the door open for a potential match if The Dudleyz make a return.

Bubba and D-Von returned to the backstage area after the angle and the entire RAW roster, including officials and the McMahons, were waiting for them with a standing ovation.

No word yet on what is next for Bubba and D-Von but they continue to run their Team 3D Wrestling Academy in Florida.

Rumor: Usos might turn heel
As noted on the Summerslam kick off the show, The Usos had a bit of a misunderstanding with American Alpha, teasing heat between the two teams. Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter pointed this out and said that it is expected that The Usos will be turning heel to begin a feud with American Alpha to help elevate them, and the tag team division on Smackdown Live.

This would be a very welcome change as The Usos have been on a rather bland babyface run, and the crowd reacts negatively to them as well.

Lesnar gets into a backstage altercation with Jericho after SummerSlam:

After Lesnar pummeled the Viper with his elbows at SummerSlam, The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Chris Jericho was concerned about Orton’s health and came to the gorilla position as soon as the match ended. The WWE veteran wanted to make sure if Orton was alright and enquired with WWE producer Michael “PS” Hayes regarding the matter. Jericho reportedly uttered “Bul*s**t” as Hayes didn’t give him a proper reply.

Brock Lesnar came backstage right then and thought that Jericho was discussing his match with Orton, and according to some sources, he told Jericho to “shut up”, while other sources report that he warned Jericho to mind his own business. The situation went up a notch when both of them were shouting at each other and made the altercation physical.

Alberto Del Rio's wife says he cheated on her, divorce papers filed:

Alberto Del Rio and Paige were seen together openly as a couple at Disneyland sometime around May and Paige herself has been very vocal of her relationship with Del Rio in social media.
