Now that’s where fans have begun to wonder about what the UFC would do for CM Punk. Would he be allowed to use his WWE ‘Cult Of Personality’ theme song that garnered millions of cheers? Looks like we might have found out the answer to that.
On the brink of UFC 203, the company has come up with a TV series that shows an inside view of Punk’s training camps and his life as a husband called Evolution of Punk. The latest episode that was released this week on the UFC’s YouTube channel and was called the ‘Evolution of Punk: Cult Of Personality’.
Wait, Cult of Personality?
Yes, the last episode was named after his WWE theme song. And the icing on the cake were the very last few minutes of the episode that had a montage with ‘Cult of Personality’ as the background music. Is this a spoiler?
The only MMA fighter to have used a theme song multiple times is the Notorious One, Conor McGregor, who has walked out to Sinead O’Connor’s Foggy Dew. The Mystic man has used this theme as his walkout song at UFC 196, UFC 202 and the most unforgettable entrance in the UFC’s history where O’Connor performed it live at UFC 187 when McGregor walked out to the Octagon.
