"I'm coming at them full throttle" - Diego Paez ready to move on to bigger names after stunner over Johan Ghazali in Bangkok

Diego Paez's confidence was supremely boosted when he defeated Johan Ghazali in their flyweight Muay Thai match via split decision last June 6 as part of the ONE Fight Night 32 card at the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

The Colombian-American contender said that he's willing to fight anyone that the promotion would put in front of him and would not hold back. He told veteran combat sports journalist Nick Atkin during his post-fight interview:

"Anybody, anybody, you know. I have respect for everybody in this promotion, so I don't take any fights and disregard the opponent. You know, anyone who's willing to step in that ring with me and signs a contract to beat me, best believe I'm coming at them full throttle."

This victory over 'Jojo' was also the first of Paez under the world's largest martial arts organization after coming up short in his debut match with rival Sean Climaco in another split decision thriller last February at ONE Fight Night 28.

The Classic Fight Team representative also said during his post-fight interview with Nick Atkin that he was confident of his chances against the Malaysian-American phenom, which significantly helped him raise his hands as the victor at the end of the match.

Additionally, Paez was pleased to get a win against an athlete with Ghazali's calibre, as he said:

"Absolutely, yes. It was all part of the plan, you know. I believed in myself. I'm fully confident. I knew I was going to go out there to win. And I'm so happy to do it against such a respectable name."
