It’s only been two years since Liam Harrison launched Hitman Fight League. Now it’s filling venues, landing TV deals, and sending fighters to ONE.

Just in one event, the promotion delivered a packed arena, a live Road to ONE tournament final, and Harrison himself coming out of retirement for one more fight on home soil.

“We had 3,500 people in attendance, and we could’ve had more. It’s still surreal to me. I don’t look at myself in that light, so I still find it amazing that others do," Harrison told ONE Championship.

That night wasn’t just about his return. It was a moment for the UK Muay Thai scene to show just how far it’s come.

“To have that, it’s so surreal. It’s humbling, too. The fact that so many turned out for my last fight in the UK, that moment looking out to the crowd with live with me forever.”

And while Harrison isn’t one to brag, objectively, he knows what it took to make that happen.

"But saying that, I don’t think there’s any other fighter in the UK or in the history of UK Muay Thai who could do it other than me right now.

“Will make you question everything” - Liam Harrison details the immense euphoria fighters get when succeeding in Muay Thai

For all the success Liam Harrison has seen - packed arenas, global fans, a decorated career - he’s never sugarcoated what this sport demands. Behind every high is a hard-earned low, and every fighter has to ride both.

"Anyone new to this fight game, get yourself prepped for some of the greatest moments of your life, alongside some of the darkest and most depressing. This sport will make you question everything you think you are, and question all your life choices for sure," he said.

That honesty comes from experience. The kind of experience that humbles you, sharpens you, and changes the way you carry yourself in and out of the ring.

"It will teach you so many lessons, not only about the sport itself, but about pride, passion, discipline, honesty, courage, fear, and ego. If you ever get out of check with any of these traits, you will be brought back down to earth with a bang."

And still, for Liam Harrison, it’s all worth it. That rush of winning, of pushing past your limits - that’s the real addiction.

"But make no mistake whatsoever, there’s no drug on earth that could ever touch the highs it brings. Enjoy the ride and have no regrets because it doesn’t last forever."
