Mahindra Racing makes history with 8 bikes on 2014 Moto3 grid

Mumbai, March 20, 2014: Mahindra Racing, the only Indian constructor in Grand Prix motorcycle racing, will make Indian motorsport history this weekend at the season opening Qatar Grand Prix on March 23. The team will field eight of its advanced MGP30 racing bikes on the 2014 Moto3 grid, including two Mahindra Racing factory team bikes and six customer bikes – two each for Ambrogio Racing, CIP Moto3 and San Carlo Team Italia.

This is the second highest number of bikes on the Moto3 grid after KTM, which has 19 bikes in the competition this season.

Considering that Mahindra Racing only began competing at the highest level of international motorcycle racing three years ago in 2011, this is a remarkable achievement and proof of the incredible progress made by the team in a very short period of time.
