Ricky Donison drove a splendid race for a start-to-finish win in the senior category in the second round of the JK Tyre FMSCI National Karting Championship which concluded here on Sunday.
Never under threat at any point of time, Donison won the race for BPC Racing ahead of Chittesh Mandody of Dark Don Racing while reigning national champion Ameya Bafna of Rayo Racing was third.
Mrinal Chatterjee of Rayo Racing took the honours in the junior category. Chatterjee made a fantastic start from third to bag the lead. He slowly pulled away as Aanjan Patodia in the second place lost his position to Rayo Racing teammate Mohammed.
Eventually, it was Chatterjee who won the race for Rayo Racing, ahead of Akash Gowda of Meco Racing and Mohammed.
Ruhaan Alva of BPC won the Micro Max category with Shahan Mohsin and Arjun Nair, both of Meco Racing, finishing second and third, respectively.
