Andres Iniesta Biography

Andrés Iniesta Luján is a Spanish football midfielder , who plays for La Liga club FC Barcelona, and the Spanish national team. He began his youth career at Albacete and senior club Barcelona team to victory in the Nike Premier Cup. Iniesta captained of Barcelona Under-15 and established himself as a player of the tournament in the season 2005-06. Iniesta developed himself and delighted the world with in a central or wide role and amazing dribbling skills in the season 2008-09. however due to his knee injury affected his contribution in the season 2009-10. During the season he made a one-year extension to his Barcelona contract which now runs until 2015 and his buy-out clause was raised from €150 million to €200 million. He played for his national team at Under-16, Under-19 and Under-21 levels. Although he was selected in FIFA World Cup (2006 and 2010) and the tournament's All-Star Team. Iniesta also became the Man of the Match of two other World Cup games and went on to win UEFA Best Player in Europe Award in the season 2011-2012.
