Ben Hawes

Benjamin (\"Ben\") Robert Hawes is an English field hockey player whose profile is that of a midfielder or as a half back. He had represented both England and Great Britain at numerous tournaments, including Field hockey at the 2004 and 2008 Summer Olympics. He has been a prominent player since his international debut in 2002. He has had the honour of captaining his national team at the Summer Olympics in 2008. He has also won gold with England at the 2009 Euro Hockey Championships. He is an elected member of the British Olympic Association Athletes Commission. Besides his impressive statistics, he has a total of 42 international goals to his credit.
