Pinkathon leaves enthusiasts wanting for more

Pinkathon:

This event was by far one of the most involved and communal running events, which has been held in Bangalore. It bought together runners from across the city in a never before way. It was a month-long party to create a buzz to the build up of the event. From the promotional runs around town to the treadathon and carnival held in forum mall – it was all fun, fun, FUN!

The run in itself was meticulously planned. Each and every detail was looked into. Right from the flowers used for decorations to the size of the water bottles for the runners at the aid stations. The ZUMBA warm-up was phenomenal, the flag off timings were, well, punctual, the markings of the route were incredible, the volunteer support was charming, the lack of dogs was soothing to the runner, but alarming to the regulars of CP; the CP gates were open and surprisingly there was not a single collision between runners.

It takes a lot of planning and attention to detail to be able to pull off an event of such magnitude with such smooth precision – 3000 plus participants, spectators, volunteers, guests and more – and not one who was dissatisfied – speaks volumes. The prize distribution ceremony was grand and has left all of us with warm fuzzy high energy memories and of course, wanting more!
