2015 Puma Urban Stampede Bengaluru: Results

The race kicks off!

The Puma Urban Stampede definitely lived up to its name! It was held at Manyata Tech Park, which is around 20 kms from central Bangalore. It had three events – the 10 km and 5k runs plus the 5 X 4 corporate relay. The event saw more than 1000 people approximately. We were flagged off in the midst of mud and slush, which was due to the previous night’s rain.

The flag off for the 10km run was early morning at 6:00 AM and that of the 5km run 10 minutes afterwards. The race was well organised in terms of proper markings and frequent water stations.

Runners were plagued by street traffic, which disrupted their momentum as they progressed through the route.

The reporter set her personal best of 1 hr 13 minutes after recovering from a long-term knee injury.
