Anisa outclasses Olympian to clinch Gold

Haryana’s Anisa Sayyed has clinched a gold medal in the women’s 25m Sports Pistol event in the 55th National Shooting Championships at Pune. Anisa shot the aggregate score of 781.1 points to claim gold by out-classing Olympian Rahi Sarnobat of Maharashtra and Annuraj Singh of Air India.

Anisa bettered the rivals in qualifying round with a 10 point lead, which proved as a masking agent for the victory after final round when Rahi Sarnobat shot the best score of 203.7 points to top finals. Rahi claimed silver with an aggregate score of 774.7 while Annuraj claimed bronze with a score of 768.4 points.
