Top 5 characters that should be added as DLC in the new Super Smash Bros.

Shayak

We are less than three weeks away for the release of Super Smash Bros. and much of its hype is already created for the Wii U version of the game. A special Nintendo Direct was announced for this thursday that is set to unveil 50 new things about the Wii U version, so Masahiro Sakurai is ready to drop the proverbial mic with plenty of new information. With Mario Kart 8 and Hyrule Warriors, both of them getting DLC, people are pretty excited to see the DLC characters in Super Smash Bros. So here’s a list of characters whom we want to be added to the roster as DLC, when it releases next month.

#1 King K. Rool

Without any doubt, if there’s any series other than Metroid that needs someone to represent a villain, it is Donkey Kong. While he heasn’t be seen for a long time, King K. Rool is the most appropriate villain representative. King K. Rool was featured in the Donkey Kong country. Don’t think of him as a Bowser in the game due to it’s size because there is plenty of potential for original moves to come from his appearances throughout the different games.

#2 Professor Layton

How can you describe Professor Layton? Well he can be described as the Sherlock Holmes of the Nintendo world. What the professor does, it requires to think outside the box. Recently, Layton was teamed up with Phoenix Wright, who had his own try at fighting games, so the creators thought to why not giving a chance to Layton! To play the character, the players would require a little creativity as they are controlling the star of the series of puzzle solving mystery games.

#3 Wonder Red

Wonder Red looks like a perfect fit for the Super Smash Bros. Whether it be his looks or styles or his red cape or his acrobatic moves, Wonder Red seems like the perfect ingredient for an awesome game. Wonder Red already seems built for the fast paced action of Super Smash Bros. and has an assortment of moves that could be easily translated.

#4 Ghirahim

The character whom I would like to nominate is Ghirahim from The Legend of Zelda series. On taking into account that there are plenty sword fighting characters, amongst all of them, Ghirahim is my favourite. Zelda has not received a new character technically since Melee, as Sheik existed as part of Zelda and Toon Link was a new variation of Young Link. Ghirahim’s style of movement would be fun to use in battle and he has always been proven to be a blast to use in Hyrule Warriors.
