10 greatest soundtracks you'll never forget from EA Sports FIFA

We all love playing FIFA, but the one thing that stands out in the game, apart from the top notch gameplay and full-licensed teams (Ha, PES fans!) is the soundtrack that comes bundled with the game.Licensed music tracks have been one of the major elements of the long running series, and saw its first use in FIFA: Road to World Cup 98, and have been used in every following installment since then. Soothing, pumping and energetic tracks play as you flick through the game menu, or as you change your squad, or you look for your next Thierry Henry in the transfer market; you eventually end up listening to that song so often that nostalgic memoirs of you playing FIFA hit you when listen to that same track years later. The series have featured songs by Kasabian, Muse, Linkin Park, Kings of Leon, Bloc Party, Blur, Robbie Williams, Gorillaz, Paul van Dyk, Kraftklub, deadmau5 and Tiësto, and so basically, it was hard for us to come up with only 10 songs. So, don’t be shy to point out if I have missed any of the good ones! Here are ten of the greatest songs featured in EA Sports' FIFA games:

Sleep Alone is personally my favourite from the lot, and I am completely biased towards the song; composed by Irish band Two Door Cinema Club, the track was released on July 20, 2012 and appeared in FIFA 13.

This song was released as the band’s lead single from their second album Beacon, and has also been used by a TV series known as The Vampire Diaries, which is popular among the teenagers, for reasons I have no clue about.
