Mortal Kombat 10: Top 8 modes fans are dying to see

Shayak

Since the first release of the Mortal Kombat in the ‘90s, it has become a popular games amongst the masses. For many it’s a stress buster game where you can put all your rage into beating your opponent mercilessly. And it has stayed true to that fact. What do we enjoy in Mortal Kombat? There are so many answers to that small question. The wide range of characters from which you can pick anyone and fight with him/her. Another great feature of the game is the gameplay and the action-packed scenario and fighting skills. With the release date of Mortal Kombat 10 coming close, we have selected the 8 best modes that should be included in the game.

#1 Test your Modes

MK is a button smashing game. We already know the classic cup and ball game of MK which was for Test for Sight and if you choose the wrong cup, you are awarded with violent deaths. The another Test your mode was the Test your Luck , where where each fight included randomly selected boosts or handicaps for each player.

We all will agree that testing your own powers and abilities is a wastage of time but this is why we love the game. It would be a shame if MK10 didn’t feature any Test Your Modes. No doubt the game will surprise us with the violent action sequences and skills but it would be a disapoointment if this feature is missed out.

#2 Puzzle Kombat

Who can forget the Puzzle combat system in the MK? It was a mixture of Tetris with Mortal Kombat. It served as an additional game which was present within the existing game. The game was an offset from the usual violent streak and was humorous at the same time.

There are very less chances that we’ll see a game mode like this again in the newest edition of the game but if it is featured it will serve as a good way of relaxation from the gore and bloodshed.

#3 King of the Hill

It has become very common in today’s game to create an arena and let the viewers enjoy the game. The feature was first introduced in 2011’s King of the Hill reboot, where an environment of an arena was created and some of the most amazing and competitive fights were showcased.

And in a game like Mortal Kombat, a feature like this shouldn’t be missed. Imagine a whole row of audience sitting and watching your fight. They can either cheer you or demotivate you. And also they will rate your performance and your fighting skills.

#4 Endurance Mode

Endurance Mode is considered to be one of the most important features of the game. This was originally introduced in Mortal Kombat: Armageddon. When it was released along with Armageddon, it had some errors and issues.

Since then, fans wanted the Endurance Mode to be brought back witha fine gameplay. If the studio re-releases it with a minor reworking – throw in a host of unlockable features, challenging progress gates, and rewards to motivate continued effort – an Endurance Mode could become an essential part of Mortal Kombat 10’s single-player arsenal.

#5 Motor Kombat

This is one of the most favourite modes which I personally want in the game. All those macho men who were fghting by spilling their blood just for making you win and suudenly you see them transformed into tiny figures riding in small vehicles and racing each other, it just makes all that hatred go and makes you laugh.

From my point of view, Motor Kombat is a funny way to take a break from the violence. But like the Puzzle Kombat, it’s unlikely that this one will be making an appearance in Mortal Kombat 10, but still we can hope for it.

#6 Chess Kombat

I’ve loved the chess combat system since I’ve seen Harry Potter and the Sorcer’s Stone. It was amazing to see how all the characters from a game of chess can come into life and the peaceful game can turn into a violent streak. A

nd then it was adopted by MK which utilised it’s violence completely and made it a unique feature of the series. The chess mode tests the player’s tactical thinking a lot. So with high hopes, we expect this mode to be featured in Mortal Kombat 10.

#7 Tag Team Mode

As the phrase says, “Being double is better than being alone”. The tag team mode allows two players to join hand in hand and face the opponents together. This is pretty helpful especially when you get beaten to a pulp by your opponent. While the story mode adds a sense of darkness, the tag team mode adds fun while fighting and makes the match much more exciting.

Although, if the Tag Team Mode is to make an appearance in Mortal Kombat 10, it could do with a little bit of work. The idea of teaming up is good but there are some issues which needs to be dealt with. So this also falls among one mode which we’d like to see in MK10.

#8 Challenge Tower

The last and the most important mode that we want for sure in Mortal Kombat 10 is the Challenge Mode. It is a must for this game and it needs to be more gruesome and ferocious than the previous installments. The Mortal Kombat Challenge Tower – a sprawling list of 300 unique challenges that will test every aspect of your Mortal Kombat abilities.

Some may have skipped these challenges entirely, but this mode became something of a fan favorite among many MK devotees. So it would be a real shame if the developers skip this mode as it remains as a centre of attraction for all the gamers.
