With the upcoming of a yet another new month, many of the big companies will be putting up their games online for pre-order with some of the much awaited ones, (yes, I am talking about The Crew!) and some of the most followed games. And, this is not just a good month for console gamers; PC and Steam will be getting the same love as well as but with much cheaper deals for most of the games with The Elder Scrolls Online being one of the few exceptions.Here is a list of the top ten games that are available for pre-order in August/September:
#1 Assassin\'s Creed: Unity
Assassin’s Creed: Unity is the seventh major installment in the Assassin’s Creed series, and is set to be released on October, 28 this year. It will be available for sale on Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One only, and is up for pre-order for Indian customers online.
Retaining most of the game’s core-element, Assassins’s Creed Unity will see the introduction of cooperative multiplayer, a first in the series which will allow up to four players to play together. Arno Dorian, a native Frenchman is the primary protagonist of this installment which is set in Paris during the French Revolution era.

#2 Grand Theft Auto V
The gaming world has been buzzing since the release of Grand Theft Auto V. People, right, left and center, are going crazy to get their hands on a copy of the game. GTA V is the biggest game yet and Rockstar have made sure that it feels like it.

#3 Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor
Monolith Productions’ Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor will be getting an early release, most likely a week earlier than expected.
The game’s version for PlayStation 3 and 4, and Xbox 360 and One will be launched on September 30 instead of the predicted date of October 7, while it will be released a week later for PC users, on October 2 specifically.
The reason behind this move could be the excitement among the fans and the community who have been anticipating the game for a long time now.

#4 Destiny
From the creators of multi-billion dollar conception Halo, Bungie developers are set to uncover their upcoming mythic science fiction called Destiny.
The multiplayer first person shooter will be massive in terms of online features and will be roleplaying in nature. It will be published by Activision as a part of their 10 year deal and will release on 9th September, 2014.
The setting is in a post-apocalyptic ‘Golden Age’ seven hundred years into the future. The plot revolves around the concept of ‘The Traveller’ who is responsible for the scattered colonization of humans throughout the Solar system. But after”the Collapse” occurred, mankind faces the threat of extinction as the ruins of their races lie buried in the dunes of Mars, hidden in the jungles of Venus, lost in a wild and abandoned Earth.

#5 The Crew
One of the most awaited games, the Crew is an upcoming racing video game set in an open world environment, that allows the user to take part in a relentless ride to infiltrate and overtake the 510s, a gang grown around Detroit’s illegal street racing scene.
Developed by Ivory Tower and Ubisoft Reflections, the game is available for pre-order for PC and PlayStation 4.

#6 Tom Clancy\'s The Division
Ubisoft is coming up with yet another masterpiece titled “Tom Clancy’s The Division” under the Tom Clancy brand. The third person tactical role playing shooter waiting to be released sometime in 2014 (official date unannounced) is being developed for Microsoft Windows, Xbox One and Playstation 4.
Originally being developed for eighth generation consoles, the game is set in a post-pandemic struck New York City where devastation has spread through causing the city to become devoid of basic needs in only a matter of 5 days. Following a state of panic and chaos without any food or water, a strategic team of self-supported tactical agents called “The Division” is formed.
In a fight against the abolishment of society, the player will find themselves playing as these agents both in single player as well as in massive multi player online situations. #7 EA Sports UFC
Renowned sports video game maker, EA Sports will be releasing their new upcoming game, UFC which is it’s second foray into the fighting genre of Mixed Martial Arts.
The UFC franchise was first owned by THQ, however, it’s recent demise spelled a perfect opportunity for competitor Electronic Arts to swoop, and make it a part of it’s long list of famous sports game licenses.
Although the trailer features some extremely impressive visuals and game-play mechanics, the jury is out on how the it will eventually play out after it’s official release.
The game is being released only on two platforms, Xbox One and PS4. The team’s creative director Brian Hayes, confirmed that there are no plans for a Wii U release, and would focus solely on the eighth gen twins.

After a brief early access period for the gamers who purchased the Imperial Edition of the game, Zenimax Online Studios’ massively multiplayer online role-playing game The Elder Scrolls Online was released for PC and Mac in digital and physical formats.
