Jodhpur Junior Open: Neel Joshi triumphs, Harshit Kaur Jawanda falters in the final

Neel Joshi emerged victorious in the U11 category

There were upsets galore but some good wins too in the Indian Junior Open 2015, an SRFI 4-star squash tournament which concluded here today.

If Abhay Singh of TN upset Ranjit Singh of Delhi in the U-19 boys’final then in keeping with form and seeding, Mihiliya Methsarani of SriLanka beat the top Indian but second seed Harshit Kaur Jawanda of Delhi . The Lankan girl had won the bronze medal in the recent Commonwealth Youth Games.

A notable fall was Navaneeth Prabhu, the top player in U-13 boys section but fell to Neel Joshi.
