All four Indian swimmers participating at the ongoing 4th FINA World Junior Swimming Championships 2013 in Dubai on Tuesday were eliminated in the preliminary round itself.

It was the second consecutive day all Indians crashed out of their respective events. There are in total six Indian swimmers in the fray at the World Junior Championships, out of which Mitesh Kunte, Bobby Rana, Yaqoob and Meenakshi participated in their events.

Meenakshi Velayudham finished 37th in the 200m girls butterfly event clocking 2:28.30, whereas Mitesh Kunte and Yaqoob Salem finished a disappointing 47th and 49th in the boys 200m freestyle, with timings of 2:00.39 and 2:01.33 respectively.

Booby Raina, meanwhile, finished at 51st by clocking 1:00.46 spot in the boys 100m butterfly to round-off a below-par day for the Indians.
